July, 2026 Monthly Newsletter
Dear Geneva Township Republicans,
Our community showed its strength in June by saving the Swedish Days Parade through grassroots involvement. That same spirit will carry us forward as we celebrate America's 250th and prepare for the midterms.
Swedish Days 2026: Tradition Preserved
The 76th Annual Swedish Days Festival was a success thanks to community action that brought back the traditional parade on June 28. Neighbors, businesses, and volunteers came together to keep this cherished heritage event alive. Thank you to all who participated — this is grassroots patriotism in action!
Celebrating America's 250th Birthday
July 4 marks 250 years since the Declaration of Independence. Kane County and Geneva are celebrating with events, the "Love Letters to America" initiative, and a special video debut July 8 at the American Legion. Let's honor our heritage and freedoms with pride!
Candidate Open House Meet & Greet
Join us for an Open House Meet & Greet with candidates on the ballot for the 2026 midterms (mid-July, details forthcoming). Meet our amazing candidates of strong conservatives fighting for lower taxes, public safety, and fiscal responsibility. Bring neighbors and get involved!
Every Republican Vote Matters — Save Illinois!
November 3, 2026 is critical. High taxes, spending, crime policies, and government waste are driving families and businesses out of Illinois. Primaries showed energy — now we need maximum turnout to restore common sense.
Action steps:
• Update voter registration and plan to vote
• Attend the Candidate Meet & Greet
• Volunteer for canvassing/GOTV
Every vote counts. Let's save Illinois together!
Get Involved
Become a volunteer, precinct committeeman, or attend events. Reach out to Chair Lesley Saccotelli to help with canvassing or GOTV. Follow us on Facebook and stay engaged!
Together we preserve traditions and fight for a better Illinois and America. God bless Geneva and the USA!
