June 2026 Monthly Newsletter
Dear Geneva Township Republicans and Friends,
As we enter the heart of summer in our beautiful community, we celebrate the values that make Geneva special: strong families, cherished traditions, and a commitment to pride in our community. This month, we are thrilled to highlight one of our township’s signature events and rally behind the outstanding candidates stepping up for the 2026 midterms.
Celebrating the 76th Annual Geneva Swedish Days – June 24-28
Geneva Swedish Days is back and better than ever! This beloved festival, now in its 76th year, honors the Swedish immigrant heritage that helped shape our community. From June 24th through the 28th, downtown Geneva will come alive with music, carnival rides, the Lopp 5K, Kids’ Day activities, food vendors, craft beer, and more.
We are especially grateful that the traditional parade will march once again on Sunday, June 28th. Local merchants stepped up personally to sponsor and save this cornerstone event after it faced elimination due to funding shortfalls. Their generosity reminds us what community looks like in action.
Geneva has always prided itself on family-friendly traditions and neighborly support. At the Geneva Township Republicans, we hold these values close to heart—fiscal responsibility, preserving local heritage, and ensuring our community remains a great place to raise families. We encourage everyone to come out, enjoy the festivities, and support the local businesses that make events like this possible.
Midterms 2026: Strong Community Leaders Ready to Serve
With the November 2026 midterms approaching, we have an excellent slate of dedicated Geneva-area residents running for office. These are not career politicians but neighbors, business owners, parents, and proven leaders committed to keeping our township and county grounded in the principles of liberty, limited government, and opportunity for all.
We will be sharing more details on specific candidates, meet-and-greet events, and volunteer opportunities in the coming weeks. If you are interested in getting involved—whether knocking on doors, making calls, or helping at events—please reach out. Our strength comes from engaged citizens like you.
