Fellow Republicans,

I was informed yesterday that one of our very own sons of Geneva County has passed away while at the state capital attending the current legislative session.  Representative Warren Beck represented District 87, which covers Geneva and part of Houston counties. He was first elected to the state Legislature in 2002 (two terms).  He was 65-years-old. 

Warren was known for his humor with colleagues and constituents alike.  As a dedicated Republican, conservative, and leader in Geneva County and the surrounding area he will be greatly missed.  The Geneva County Executive Committee will keep the family and friends of Warren in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time.
